AQW Clan: The Final Crusade

I know you all love me...sorta...but i just can't keep up what i used to do, so now Killer9-7, our currently most active member, is now your currently most active admin! Yes i know this is late, but the mogloween event is ON!!! In the event you can complete quests for Bubble, Toil, and Trouble to unlock shops. You can also no go on to the Boss Battle with the Pumkin King, the strongest monster yet!!! he drops several items, a helm, a cape, a sowrd, a staff,  and 2 seeds. All the items are Member Only except for 1 of the seeds. If you have all these items, i suggest you wear them with PumpkinLord Armor, if you can equip it (promises self he WILL raise more money for membership). Keep it up, people!

For all those who are not members yet(popints at self), i would suggest that you buy the 1-yr membership with the extra 5k coins, this way you can buy the top items in the Memb AC shop (sepulchure sword, black wings, evil looking helm). i'd also suggest that even if you aren't memb, farm for all the pumpkin items, they are some of the best looking things in the game!(slightly biased opinion)

Four days of the most intense game building
With only a few days between now and Friday's launch we have gone into overdrive. Minimal's new combat system was released and it is a HUGE success. We are adjusting the monsters health and damage so gameplay is smooth and fun for you.

Zhoom has been playing wack-a-bug all weekend. To everyone who had problems buying items from the shop, equiping items, or had their items suddenly flagged upgrade/staff-only, this should be fixed and working normally!

MMO Making 101
Greetings everyone! Today is exactly one week from the official launch of AdventureQuest worlds. Everything is going exactly as you would expect*. Next week should go smoothly**. What could possibly go wrong***?

* As you would expect = We broke everything.... the new game engine exploded in a mushroom cloud of digital anarchy, all of the quests and zones are behind schedule, the new features are misbehaving and doing brand new bizzare and strange things... Healer's are one shotting monsters with their protective spells... oh, here is some good news! The website is black *coughs* because it is just a blank, black page at the moment... <chuckles>
** Fasten your safety belts, put on a safety helmet and hold onto the bars... this rollercoaster coaster is about to do loopty loops into the side of the refreshment building! Mmmmm... popcorn.

Launch and Mogloween!
It is official -- AdventureQuest worlds will be ending Beta with the big release at NOON on Friday, October the 10th!

Opening Ceremony... wait.. not THAT kind of ceremony!


What will happen...

Level Cap Increased to 20 Pets will be released Combat System will go live New Quests, Armors, and Rewards New Shops (With Weapons and Items!) New Website 5 New Servers will come online. (Two Moglin "Safe Servers" and Three Legendary Servers) Upgrades and AdventureCoins will be available for purchase. The game will be considered "LIVE!" -- and we will expand this amazing web based MMO with endless new adventures and features.
This is so exciting! As you can imagine the entire team is working around the clock to meet this insane deadline. So much to do in so very little time. Launch week will be full of excitement... RARES... and then comes our first ever MMO Mogloween!


Mogloween is coming in October too!

Official pricing has not been released yet. Although there sure are a lot of rumors! There will be a 3-month, 6-month, and "Entire Year" package... which will come with additonal goodies. Of course we are going to take very special care of those of you who support us by upgrading at the start. So I am putting together a special offer just for you.

Also, to show our appriciation, we are making everyone who upgrades within the first month a "Founder of AdventureQuest Worlds". This will forever be displayed on your character page and never be available again. The Founder's of DragonFable and MechQuest recieved special gifts on MechQuest's birthday this week!


The cake is a.... TRUTH?
(As per our tradition since MechQuest, we will soooooooo be playing the Portal themesong at Noon on the 10th and updating the Play-by-Play live.... this promises to be our most insane launch ever!)

The thing I am most excited about for the release is... the next releases! This MMO is really something special. If you have been playing, then you too can feel its amazing potential. It already looks incredible... but this is only the start. If you have been with us for the launch of another game, you already know this. If this is your first... wow... are you in for the time of your life. We are all putting our hearts and souls into this to make it the greatest game the web has ever seen. Thank you for being a part of it. On Friday the 10th... WE GO LIVE!

WOW... the game play has been altered forever. all of you level fives with all the armors now have a new goal...level 10 armors! the level cap on artmors is ten, and i suggest you level them all before they put in a tougher leveling system.

Also! All monsters drop special unique items, some drop more than one. Normal monsters will drop ever now and then, but bosses will have to be farmed for hours or more. My suggestion: Go after the Undead Boss on the bridge, his sword looks awesome.

Pirate armor has been RELEASED! For all of those who haven't got your Captain Rhubarb Nametag can redeem your self by getting your all new pirate armor! To get to the location of which your pirate armor is, locate the button saying, "Pirates!," At the top right corner of your screen at battleon. Once you get there, talk to Elissa and start the quest chain!

Sidenote: When you log-out, your alpha pirate token vanishes. This is a bug that will soon be fixed. Reens: Also, you may experience some items missing from your inventory. Fear not! No items are missing at all! They are just invisible and even if you click the blank inventory spaces, the item will still not show. Hopefully, they will show soon so you can use them again.

Sidenote 2: When you log-out, you have to re-do the quest chain to get to the items shop at the end of the quest chain.

Design Notes:  For those of you who were here during alpha, and still have your Captain Rhubarb nametag, keep them! Soon in the future, these will be used for something special in-game!

Hello! I haven't posted here in a while, but this merits an announcement. AE just released a new batch of shirts containing special codes for the games, as well as having a spoiler for AQW!

UPDATE:

Well, the shirts were released Friday, September 12th, so congrats for all of you who got one cause they're SOLD OUT ALREADY!!! Wow that was fast! I didn't get one myself, but I can bet ya that those shirts will sell for double on Ebay right now!!! BTW keep congratulating YOURMOMTHABOMB on these awesome posts! I swear, he's faster at this than any of the leadership!
